There are many beautiful pieces of jewelry in Betsy Baker's shop, Stonehouse Studio, but these polymer clay pebble earrings are my favorite style. I just love their understated elegance and simplicity. They are also a perfect demonstration of two of the best qualities of polymer clay, which makes it such a good choice as a jewelry-making material: its light weight (imagine those earrings with real pebbles!) and easiness to work with (again – imagine drilling holes in real pebbles!).

I almost can't believe those aren't real river stones! What a wonderful, understated use of the medium!
