These cute tiny polymer clay animals and birds made by Jillian from weeones.etsy.com are actually very helpful for knitting. These are stitch markers, and Jillian makes hundreds of them in all kinds of shapes: animals, birds, bugs, fish, flowers, food... You name it – and she've probably got a set of these stitch markers already made with the theme you want. What I especially like in her work is that even within the set the markers are often quite different – with each animal being a different species or at least holding its own pose.

How cute! I've always used some plastic rings to count my stitches. I am off to this shop to get me some fancy ones now!
ReplyDeleteThose are too cute!
ReplyDeleteOk, the sheep are adorable, but I ADORE those birdies...and I dont even know how to knit. I would definitely use them in a charm bracelet or as teeny ornaments on my little bamboo plant.
