The beauty of your own rules is that you get to choose how and when to break them. So today I am happily breaking my own rule of three works per post to show you one incredible necklace.

This is the work of Louisa Meece. The necklace is named “Ice Princess” and it features a beautiful hand-sculpted polymer clay cabochon as a center piece for intricate bead work. This necklace won First Place in the Cabochon Category in 2008 FireMountain Gems Annual Beading Contest. Find it in Louisa'a Etsy shop, Beaded Extravagance.

CRACKLED

Great craftsmanship and interesting details are a trademark of these amazing face cabochons by Jen Martin from graphixoutpost.etsy.com. My favorite are the ones with crackled finish.

Jen's web site, photo album, and blog offer more pictures of her work and her life near the mountains.
