If you liked the silver and concrete jewelry in my previous post – here is a similar idea realized in polymer clay.

This collection comes from the new shop of Lorraine Seibold, LaughingBird.etsy.com. There are more pictures of Lorraine's work at her web site, www.seiboldjewellery.com.

BEWILDERING

I bet you'd never guess what materials are used for these gorgeous jewelry by Sue Urquhart!

Actually, the silver part is easy – it is Precious Metal Clay (PMC), but what about the color? I was so sure it is polymer clay – what else can it be, right? Wrong! This is actually tinted concrete...

Today I am glad to bring you the works of another talented miniaturist, this time from England. It is Vicky Guile of NJDMiniatures.etsy.com.

The middle picture with all the different shapes and textures is a perfect demonstration of the range of Vicky's skills. Do not forget that everything is on the 1/12 scale! The onions in the last picture, for example, are only about 5 mm (3/16”) in diameter!

Visit Vicky's blog and web site for more information about her and her work.

Randee of RMK Design makes one of the best imitations of jade jewelry I've seen. I find her designs interesting and color and texture convincible. What do you think?

Randee's tutorial on snowflake jade was published in the last issue of Belle Amoire (the summer edition). You may also find more of her work in her Flickr photo album.

STYLISH

Giia's stylish neckpieces evoke the images of catwalks and high fashion runways.

The works of this Italian designer is another example of what polymer clay could be. She uses felt and fabric in these designs, but don't you see them made in polymer clay?!
