INNOVATIVE
Susan O'Neill (11BOLDstreet.etsy.com) is experimenting with liquid polymer clay. To make these innovative bracelets, she layered gauze (soaked in liquid polymer clay) onto a backing made out of regular polymer clay. Multiple baking with additional liquid clay and mica powders resulted in these beauties.

Wow!! I take it they are flexible enough to slide on and off the wrist? Very unique idea! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool! reminds me of my earlier days and experimenting with plaster of paris soaked gauze!
ReplyDeleteI bought the wrist wear shown in top picture and I'm very, very pleased with it. It slides off and on your wrist easily. No need to slide it down your hand to your wrist. The color is gorgeous and the workmanship flawless. I love the knotted design. This piece is eye catching and fun and easy to wear. Great piece Susan!
ReplyDeleteInnovative bracelets are rare to find. However, those who regularly visit Etsy like my sister and cousins were aware that there are so many innovative and fashionable handmade accessories found in the said shopping site. Definitely, Susan's pieces are my sister's favorite aside from silicone wristbands for sale.
