MOUTHWATERING

Here are some yummy-looking desserts from kacchan.etsy.com. I wonder, where could you wear such a temptatious ring? Definitely not to work! With a ring like that, I cannot imagine concentrating on anything, but dreams about chocolate and strawberries...

DANGEROUS

Warning: do not read any further if you are hungry or on a diet.

I bet you'll be searching for some sweets after seeing the miniatures from fairchildart.etsy.com. Every little mouth-watering detail is sculpted out of polymer clay on a 1/12 scale!

For the toughest of us – there are even more enticing pictures in this Flickr photo album.

REALISTIC

Today I am glad to bring you the works of another talented miniaturist, this time from England. It is Vicky Guile of NJDMiniatures.etsy.com.

The middle picture with all the different shapes and textures is a perfect demonstration of the range of Vicky's skills. Do not forget that everything is on the 1/12 scale! The onions in the last picture, for example, are only about 5 mm (3/16”) in diameter!

Visit Vicky's blog and web site for more information about her and her work.

DELICIOUS

These mouth-watering cookies and pastry are from Paris Miniatures, the Etsy store of Emma and Neil. Made out of polymer clay on the 1:12 scale, they are perfect for doll houses and miniature compositions, and the detail is incredible. Look at the ring in the last picture, for example! It even has a lid that you can open to reveal the lady fingers biscuits inside!

You can see more works by this pair at their blog and web site.

FEMININE

These amazingly-detailed and dainty bracelets and earrings were created by a self-taught polymer clay artist from Malaysia. I love her soft colors and feminine designs!

Find these and other pieces in beadscraftz.etsy.com.

More pictures of her work can be found on flickr.com/photos/beadscraftz.

SCRUMPTIOUS

I have to admit, I have never seen miniature polymer clay baked goods as convincingly-looking as those made by a French artist, Stephanie Kilgast. I have no idea how she does it, but her breads look good enough to eat! I am purposely including one of the pictures that clearly shows the scale of these delicious creations.

To find out more about Stephanie and her works, please visit her blog, web site, and photo album.

MINIATURE

Alexandra Garnik from Ekaterinburg, Russia, originally captured my attention with her miniature polymer clay bags with imitation of leather and metal. Her attention to detail is amazing, isn't? Unfortunately, in her shop, AlexandraGarnik.etsy.com, Alexandra has only two items (one of which is a tutorial for the miniature bag, by the way).

I had to hit her flickr photo album in search of more pictures, and look what I found! The third picture below shows a gorgeous cell-phone bag, which Alexandra made using all kinds of beads and her own polymer clay spider cabochon. Again – amazing detail and wonderful sense of color!
